In a world where you're constantly asked to buy products, donate money to charities and spend every cent you have, we are positive that the last thing you want to read is this blog... but please hear us out....
We have chosen to help the United Nations achieve their sustainable goal #1; No poverty anywhere in the World by 2030. This goal is vital to our world, as more than a third of the world's population lives in poverty. We have decided to take action, and help put an end to global and local poverty.... In order to do this, we are sponsoring a poverty filled village in Ethiopia, to be our school's "Sister Community". This means that through the Organization Canadian Feed The Children, we can communicate and track our progressions on how we have helped the community out of poverty.
In order to provide these people with amazing opportunities (many of which they have never heard of or experienced) such as health care, clean water, good food, sustainable agriculture, quality education and healthy livelihoods, we need to raise $480. We have designed tasteful t-shirts and hoodies to sell to our friends and family to raise these funds! For just $20 (T-shirt) $35 (Crewneck or Hoodie) you are supporting the eradication of global poverty- and getting a great shirt! Below
