Friends of The Earth: Canada

Friends of the Earth: Canada is an organization that stands on guard for mother earth. Going out of there way to confront polluters and to make sure governments keep their promises and that they enforce laws. 
Their goal is to be a voice for the environment, nationally and internationally. Working with others to inspire the renewal of our communities and the earth through research, education and advocacy. Friends of The Earth or FoE for short, believe that a healthy environment is the basis for our economic and social well being. FoE’s work is oriented towards long-term solutions. FoE supports democratic processes and is politically neutral. FoE has been able to carry out their mission with the support of over 10,000 loyal individual supporters across Canada.
Our group has taken in old furniture such as shelves, chairs, tables and stools and are currently in the progress of refurbishing the wooden furniture. Once the furniture is all clean, polished and painted we are going to take initiative to start an event to try and sell the furniture we refurbished. All of the money that is raised or donated will be donated to Friends of The Earth Canada so that they can further their fight in keeping a healthy, habitable nation.
