48 T-shirts and a World of Change

At the beginning of the month, we decided to raise funds for a Canadian Feed The Children village in Ethiopia, to help fund causes we felt to be worthwhile. Some examples;

-Access to Professional Health Care

- Healthy Foods and Nutrition

-Clean Drinking Water Sources

-Schooling for all Children Boys & Girls

-The Teaching of Leadership Skills to help Develop Sustainable Communities

We have done it! With just 4 days to go in the Poverty 2 Power campaign, we have reached our fundraising goal of 48 t-shirts! Each shirt helps support the initiatives above, and will make a world of change in the lives of 4000 impoverished people.  Although we have had our challenges, it feels great to know that we have accomplished such a worthwhile goal, that will help so many people! Huge thanks to everyone who has supported- The shirts should be mailed to your homes by December 10th (If you ordered online) or if you paid in cash, you can expect them by December 6th.
