Cosmetology Spa Day

Our first event was a success! We were very happy with the turnout. We organized this fundraiser to raise awareness for the organization Because I am a Girl. All of the proceeds from the day went to the cause. We had students, teachers, and the public come to the cosmetology classroom to have either their nails or hair done for $5.00, as well we had bracelets for sale for $1.00. We decided as well to have students write on a shirt about what equality means to them.
