Global Goals Fair!!

Last Friday our school is hosted a Global Goals Fair for our World Issues class. In order to be ready for it, our group (No Poverty, Global Goal #1) had been working on our booth items. We had a tri-fold set up with many different facts about our goal, as well as some general information in order to get our fellow peers interested in our goal. We had a separate table set up with a game (Pie Face) in order to promote our toy drive with a fun spin on it. The toy drive started on the 4th of December and ended today, the 15th of December. We also had cookies that we were asking people for donations for, and for our game it was $.0.50 to play. All of the donations from both cookies and the game, are going to be donated to Christmas cheer.
By the end of the fair we felt as if we have brought a lot more awareness about our Global Goal. At the fair we promoted our toy drive amongst the students of NPSS. A side goal of ours is to get more followers on twitter! (@NpssEndPoverty). We are constantly tweeting about our goal along with retweeting different facts and stories about our goal. The more followers we can get, the better. We are constantly promoting change and trying to get people to take action.
