The Girl Who Could
By Dylan, Molly, Maddy and Mickayla

Sandringham High School is a school in south africa that had a hunger issue among students. Until one day a young student named Pakane Kekana decided to take action and do something about this issue. It was found in the schools that kids who were hungry were not doing well in school, so Pakane made a plan and had it approved by the school's head master, Phillip du Plessis, but with exams being so close her plan was not going to  take action until after, so instead of giving up she decided to improvise and with the help of Gift of the Givers Foundation in Bramley View, she was able to hand out 100 food parcels to help kids in need! This is a great example of how one person can make a huge difference in helping solve world hunger.
