Because I am a Girl
This past weekend our group members emailed the foundation Because I am a Girl. We were all very excited to see a reply back so soon. The woman that we spoke with was very kind and offered to assist us in setting up an online funding page as well as sending us supplies. Our group is going to receive balloons to decorate while we fundraise, stickers to give the elementary school students who order a cookie, and brochures to hand out during client day in our cosmetology class.
Our goal for the week
Our main focus as a group for this week is to begin our presentation for the elementary school students. We are all very excited to educate them and facilitate fun gender equality activities.
