Consumption Awareness
Blogged by: Zack, Zach and Tanner

The main goal of our group is to raise awareness and to show globally a way to be responsible consumers. What is responsible consumption? Responsible or sustainable consumption is learning as a luxurious society and as individuals to waste less and buy less of all the things we don’t necessarily need.
Here is a graph that shows the countries that are the biggest consumers (Canada is at rank 11 with 2.53% of World’s consumer market)

We plan to promote responsible consumption we are planning to visit a waste management center, create a presentation that will inform and hopefully interest kids at Angus Morrison Elementary School.

  2. To become a responsible consumer in North America some things you can do are reduce the amount of wants rather than needs that are bought in your household. Also you can have garage sales instead of throwing old products out. Thanks for the question and interest!
