Political Cartoons
A funny and easy way to express
your opinion on an issue
Blogged by Nicholas

Political cartoons are a serious, fun and silly way that people express their opinion on how things or their opinion on people are in the world. They only show one side of the coin, and they are never true about anything, because they are all produced by one point of view. One thing that is the same with all of they is that they are either a one panel or multi-panel cartoon of an issue. Let’s take a closer look at one;

In this political cartoon, Trump is in a meeting with Hitler and is saying: “Close Down Mosques” (religious places like a church) and “Make the Muslims carry special IDs”, with Hitler replying with: “You’re Hired”. Based on just the speech bubbles, this Political Cartoon is about how the creator views Trump’s acts towards religion. The massage that is being portrayed here, to me, is this: Trump is the second coming of Adolf Hitler, one of the worst villains in history. It’s proved not only by the speech bubbles, but also on how they placed Trump in the picture, doing the Nazi salute.
Another message that someone could interpreted from this is; Hitler decides who gets to be president of the U.S., because in the picture, Trump is saying the same things that Hitler would say, and Hitler replies with “You’re Hired”. It could be interpreted like this if it was released before or when Trump became president.
