In the past and in today's time, Canada has put in great efforts to help refugees worldwide. Canada's plan for refugees include: a Refugee and Humanitarian Resettlement Program for people in need of protection that are outside of Canada. Also, In-Canada Asylum Program for people making refugee protection entitlements whom are within the country. Canada has taken part to solve this issue by: resetting over 40,081 Syrian refugees, having approximately 6,600 Bhutanese refugees arrive, welcoming over  23,000 Iraqi refugees, and many more other cases. Canada also provides help for resettlement of refugees by taking part in welcoming them when they arrive, helping to find a place to live, assessing their necessities, providing information about the country and giving referrals to other federal and provincial programs.

The Impact of Refugees on a Host Country
A country can be significantly impacted depending on various different factors. It can be positive in many ways due to reasons such as a country will have many new people and will create diversity and unity. It may help the economy by bringing in new skills to sustain highly required jobs. Also more taxes will be paid, so it will help with the development of the country. It can be negative if overpopulated as it will also result in lack of natural resources other environmental issues. If refugees do not have a place to reside it may lead to more refugee camps and other issues that will affect the population as a whole. Health issues, poverty, more child labor, environmental issues and lack of education may be other issues that will be faced by the host country.
