Where Does Your Tim Hortons Cup and Lid Go?
By: Shaelynn and The Green Team
After doing a waste audit at NPSS we found that one of the worst items found in the garbage is the Tim Hortons cup and lid. The Tim Hortons cup is compostable and the lid is recyclable! So don't forget! :)

  1. These are really good posters! Do you think you will be making more to put up around the school? It could be a good idea to hang them near the recycling bins throughout the school so people can figure out which bins the lids and the cups belong in!

  2. As a Tim Horton's employee this is shocking that the paper cups are the worst thing in garbage , seeing as how many we go through everyday ! I think signs like the ones you have made should be posted in all Tim Hortons to educate people on the proper places their cups go !

  3. This is very interesting! I think posters like this should be posted in all of the classrooms to remind students and teachers where their cups go to help them out so they don't keep making the same mistakes over and over again! Maybe then it will help bring down the amount of cups that are thrown away in the wrong bins. :)

  4. Maybe we should post these posters at the new green bins too, seeing as the coffee cups seem to be a major issue at our school :)

  6. Good idea Kayla, Tim Hortons would be the perfect place for posters like this.

  7. Just like everyone has already said, it would be a great idea to post these in all of the classrooms and near the new green bins! Let's hope that our school can minimize the amount of Tim hortons cups' that are being put in the garbage!
