Global Goals Fair Wrap Up!

Friday December 9th was the day of the Global Goals Fair. Overall it was a huge success with a lot of classes turning up. Originally we thought it would be a quieter event and was worried our Gender Equality booth wouldn't get a lot of traffic, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our question wheel grabbed a lot of attention from people passing by so we had lots of participation and chances to educate others on some important issues such as women's rights in different countries, female genital mutilation, and the wage gap. People who came to our booth were most surprised by one fact specifically, that is “Women in Russia are barred from 456 employment options”. Sarai and I are very pleased with the Global Goals fair and would like to thank everyone who came and congratulate all of the other groups on their amazing booth!
